PRESS RELEASE

Sheriff Roger Medley shares the following Press Release.  Shortly after 0100 am, 8/11/20 Iron County Deputies were called to a residence located in Vulcan, Missouri for a shooting.  Upon arrival, they located a 30 year old male identified as William (Billy) Shy deceased.   Iron County Coroner Tim Harbison removed the body and is having an Autopsy completed.  Witnesses stated William Shy was shot by McCoy Kelley when he opened the door.  The investigation is being conducted by the Iron County Sheriff's Office and the Missouri Highway Patrol.  Murder 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action warrants have been issued for McCoy Kelley.

The Iron County Sheriff's Office and the Missouri Highway Patrol are continuing the Homicide Investigation and search for McCoy Kelley.
