PRESS RELEASE On Saturday May 2, 2020, The Iron County Sheriff's Office was called to a location between Annapolis and Dec Arc, Missouri, in reference to a possible dead body. Upon their arrival, a body was located in a creek near a railroad bridge. The Iron County Coroner was contacted and responded to the scene. After closer inspection of the area and condition of the body, the Missouri Highway Patrol's Division of Drugs and Crime Control were requested to assist in the investigation. The remains were removed and taken to a Forensic Anthropologist in St. Louis to help with identification. From the preliminary investigation the remains appear to be that of an adult.
