The Iron County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Jailer. We offer competitive salary, retirement, health insurance, and paid holidays. We are looking for someone who is motivated and willing to learn and has a great work ethic! It is preferred that candidates are familiar with computers, good typing skills, must be able to work in a fast pace environment. Jailers responsibilities will include: providing safety and security to the facility and the inmates in which are incarcerated, feeding, searching facilities, being responsible for costly items, court security, inmate transports and more. Applicant must have a basic knowledge of first aid, and will be required to obtain a CPR certification. Applicant must be available to work all shifts from time to time and work weekends.
